PP is a white, semi-crystalline thermoplastic which is a cost-effective material known for its exceptional combination of physical, chemical, mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties. Polypropylene offers high corrosion resistance, providing excellent protection against organic solvents, degassing agents, and electrolytic attacks. While it exhibits lower impact strength, it possesses good tensile strength and remarkable resistance to acids and alkalis. The recommended working temperature for Polypropylene is up to 110°C. This material finds its typical applications in chemical-resistant tanks and linings, plating barrels, die-cutting pads, impellers for pumps, and chopping boards for the food industry. Because of its excellent chemical resistance, it is extensively utilised for components within chemical and electroplating facilities. PEEK material (chemically known as Polyetheretherketone) is extruded in sheet, rod and tube that may use Victrex® PEEK or Solvay polymer as a raw material.
