PEEK material (chemically known as Polyetheretherketone) is extruded in sheet, rod and tube that may use Victrex® PEEK or Solvay polymer as a raw material. PEEK stands out as a distinctive engineering thermoplastic with semi-crystalline properties, providing exceptional chemical compatibility as well.
It is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic that is particularly suitable for high-temperature applications ranging from extremely low temperature to +250°C for long terms and to +310°C for short terms. This material exhibits excellent mechanical strength, stiffness, and hardness, along with good resistance to creep and dimensional stability. It possesses favourable electrical insulating and dielectric properties and demonstrates exceptional resistance to high-energy radiation.
PEEK is highly recommended for use in industries such as aerospace, nuclear, chemical, automotive, and electrical. Classic Polymers provides PEEK material in various forms, including rods, sheets, tubes, and components, available in both natural and filled grades.
PEEK plastic finds frequent application in environments involving hot water or steam due to its ability to uphold essential physical properties like flexural and tensile strength, even under harsh conditions. PEEK components are lighter, stronger and able to withstand severe application environments / operating conditions with high reliability which allows for very high up-time in service.

At Classic Polymers Polycarbonate plastic, often referred to by the abbreviation PC, is produced in standard stock shapes for machining parts and is extruded in plate (or sheet), and Solid Rods.
PC plastic is a thermoplastic characterised by its amorphous structure, offering excellent electrical properties alongside remarkable impact strength and moderate chemical resistance. Its high transparency is attributed to its low crystallinity and amorphous nature. Extruded polycarbonates, classified as machine grade, typically exhibit slight opacity unless subjected to mechanical or chemical polishing processes.

Acrylic is widely employed globally as a substitute for glass owing to its advantageous properties. Compared to glass, acrylic is more flexible, lighter, and stronger, while still maintaining excellent optical clarity, good chemical resistance, and weathering properties. Extruded acrylic is favoured in various applications within the sign and display, and fabrication sectors due to its ease of manipulation. Alternatively, cast acrylic, with superior mechanical properties, is preferred for machining purposes
Polyurethane is an extraordinary elastomeric material renowned for its exceptional physical properties. Polyurethane exhibits toughness, flexibility, resistance to abrasion and extreme temperatures, puncture resistance, and a broad hardness range. It combines the strength of metal with the elasticity of rubber, making it a versatile material for various applications.
It is increasingly being specified to replace traditional materials such as metals and wood in a growing number of situations. It offers exceptional tear strength and flexibility, making it the ideal choice for applications requiring these properties.
We offer cast polyurethane in basic shapes such as rods, tubes, and sheets. Additionally, we provide custom-made components tailored to your specific requirements.
