PEEK Natural

PEEK material (chemically known as Polyetheretherketone) is extruded in sheet, rod and tube that may use Victrex® PEEK or Solvay polymer as a raw material. PEEK stands out as a distinctive engineering thermoplastic with semi-crystalline properties, providing exceptional chemical compatibility as well. It is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic that is particularly suitable for high-temperature applications ranging from extremely low temperature to +250°C for long terms and to +310°C for short terms. This material exhibits excellent mechanical strength, stiffness, and hardness, along with good resistance to creep and dimensional stability. It possesses favourable electrical insulating and dielectric properties and demonstrates exceptional resistance to high-energy radiation. PEEK is highly recommended for use in industries such as aerospace, nuclear, chemical, automotive, and electrical. Classic Polymers provides PEEK material in various forms, including rods, sheets, tubes, and components, available in both natural and filled grades. PEEK plastic finds frequent application in environments involving hot water or steam due to its ability to uphold essential physical properties like flexural and tensile strength, even under harsh conditions. PEEK components are lighter, stronger and able to withstand severe application environments / operating conditions with high reliability which allows for very high up-time in service.

PVDF

PVDF, also known as polyvinylidene fluoride, is a robust high performance engineering thermoplastic renowned for its exceptional performance properties. It possesses remarkable chemical resistance to a wide range of substances including acids, halogens, hydrocarbons, alcohols, salts, and oxidants. PVDF exhibits excellent thermal stability and inherent resistance to UV radiation and gamma radiation. This product finds extensive use in numerous industries such as semiconductor, chemical processing, pulp and paper, and nuclear waste processing.PVDF is primarily employed in applications involving valves, fittings, seals, gaskets, various pump components, and chemical handling systems, as well as semiconductor processing components.

Polyamide PA 612

Cast Polyamide 6 (Cast Nylon 6 or PA 6) is one of the most versatile thermoplastics. Cast Nylon is a polymer characterised by its high molecular weight and its highly crystalline nature. With its unparalleled toughness, wear resistance, tensile strength, and lubricity, Nylon perfectly caters to the rigorous demands of modern engineers. This exceptional material serves as an ideal replacement for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials, offering numerous benefits such as noise reduction, reduced lubrication requirements, and minimised downtime. Nylon can be easily machined using standard general-purpose machinery, allowing for seamless integration into various applications. Through the incorporation of additives such as oil, solid lubricants, thermal stabilisers, or specialised fillers, the inherent properties of cast nylon materials can be finely tuned to suit specific applications, thus offering a diverse array of materials tailored to various needs. Furthermore, cast polyamide 6 stands out as an excellent alternative to metal, boasting fatigue resistance, noise reduction, corrosion resistance, and lightweight properties. PA 6 is a low maintenance material when compared with other metals such as iron, aluminium, brass and bronze. ‘PA 612 Grade’ – Cast Polyamide Impact Modified This grade has a vibrant yellow colour and is the recommended choice for high impact load applications, particularly in industries such as steel rolling mills where slipper and wobbler pads are utilised. This impact-modified grade of polyamide ensures exceptional impact resistance, providing superior performance in demanding environments. With a recommended working temperature of up to 110°C, this material excels in maintaining its properties under challenging conditions. ‍
