Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC or Vinyl) is a high-strength semi-crystalline thermoplastic material. PVC offers excellent chemical compatibility, is strong and exceptionally hard, good flammability and weather resistance properties while also having very low water absorption properties. It is widely used in industrial, construction and laboratory applications such as pipes, medical devices, and wire & cable insulation, to name a few of the endless applications. It ranks as the third most extensively manufactured synthetic plastic polymer globally.

Acrylic is widely employed globally as a substitute for glass owing to its advantageous properties. Compared to glass, acrylic is more flexible, lighter, and stronger, while still maintaining excellent optical clarity, good chemical resistance, and weathering properties. Extruded acrylic is favoured in various applications within the sign and display, and fabrication sectors due to its ease of manipulation. Alternatively, cast acrylic, with superior mechanical properties, is preferred for machining purposes.
